James C. Cope, a partner with the law firm of Cope, Hudson, Reed & McCreary, PLLC, in Murfreesboro, has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2008, in the specialty of Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law. In addition to his practice, Mr. Cope is frequently invited to lecture on the subjects of eminent domain law, local governmental law and jury selection in civil cases. Mr. Cope received his undergraduate degree in political science and economics, with honors, from the University of Tennessee in 1971, and received his doctorate of jurisprudence from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1974.
