Prior to joining CHSR&M, Mr. Santel served as an Assistant
District Attorney General for the Sixteenth Judicial District,
Rutherford and Cannon County, Tennessee. As an Assistant District
Attorney, Mr. Santel was active in courtroom trial practice, where he
was involved in the prosecution of various types of criminal cases,
including major drug and felony offenses.
Mr.
Santel's practice areas include criminal law, general civil litigation,
insurance law, governmental law and domestic relations. Mr. Santel is
admitted to practice law in all Tennessee state courts and in the
United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Mr.
Santel is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, as well as the
Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Association. Additionally, he is a
member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr.
Santel is actively involved with the United Way, where he serves on the
Steering Committee for Success by 6.
Mr. Santel
received his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State
University in 2000, and received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from
Nashville School of Law in 2004.
